Iran ‘I Love You’ to go to South Korea

Iranian short film ‘I Love You’ has been scheduled to go on screen at the 10th edition of the Seoul International Extreme-Short Film Festival (SESIFF) in South Korea.

Directed by Babak Habibifar, the 12-minute short film is about a lonely man who hears strange noises and goes to investigate about the sources.

The short film has so far taken part at a number of international film events, including the Skepto International Film Festival 2018 in Italy and the Festival Internacional De Cortometrajes Radio City 2018 in Spain.

The 20th Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia in Japan and the 2018 Caostica International Festival of Short Films and Videos in Spain are among the recent global experiences of ‘I Love You’.

Directed by Saman Hosseinpour, ‘The Last Embrace’ is the other representative of Iran at the competition section of the South Korean film event.

More than 100 films from across the world will be competing during the 10th SESIFF.

The SESIFF consists of competition, non-competition and production support programs, aimed at “creating a cosmopolitan cultural environment where anyone can enjoy movies in various places beyond cinemas and through various channels.”

The 10th edition of the event is slated for September 11-16, 2018, in South Korea.
